HIRED Consult partners Nigerian Writers Awards on Movement Against Depression and Suicide

[Ikeja, Nigeria] — Partnerships are what drives accomplishment and effective use of resources. Once again HIRED Consult makes another giant stride in the area of Mental Health and Wellbeing as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) under SDG 3.

Director and HRM at HIRED Consult, Madam Masha Boi Bashiru MBPsS, who also heads the Ask MePSY business line of the organization reechoed the need for pragmatic approach in addressing mental health matters. She is a licensed Clinical and Health Psychologist. In her speech, she praised the project, Movement Against Depression and Suicide (MADS) and enjoins all to participate in this project annually.

MADS- Movement Against Depression and Suicide, is a project under the Nigerian Writers Awards aimed at creating Strategic and Effective practices that increases protection from Suicide risk.

MODEST DIKO, the Initiator and Project Coordinator of Nigerian Writers Awards and Movement Against Depression & Suicide project, made his speech stating that, “the aim of creating a sustainable environment in relation to mental health and wellbeing matters at every stage in life and hence MADS dimmed it fit to partner with such organizations as Hired Consult led by John Aggrey, Founder and CEO, basically in health consultancy and to use materials on mental health to educate and inform the general public. He is graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) where he studied Microbiology and hold a Post Graduate Degree (PGD) in Public Relation and Advertising at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ).

The partnership was witnessed by MADS Project Teams Madam Precious Whyte, Head of Media and Publicity and Hon. Musa Olatunji, Head of Operations and Programmes.
